How to make a Dinosaur Sweet Tree

I love a kid's birthday party and my creative juices really going. My son for his 4th Birthday wanted a dinosaur themed party which filled me with a huge amount of excitement. I always try to make some bits to make his party unique and this time my masterpiece was going to be a sweet tree dinosaur.

To make this you need the following:

Plastic Diplaoocus , Polystyrene Ball, Glue gun and glue, a saw, tissue paper and lollies or sweets.

This is how we made it:

First of all you need to saw your dinosaur in half.

Then arrange the polystyrene ball between the 2 halves of dinosaur ensuring that the ball touches the surface for extra support and then with a hot glue gun stick the 2 ends to the ball. Its important that the ball does touch the surface because the weight of the sweets will cause the dinosaur ends to come off the ball if the ball is floating without resting at the center on the surface.

Once this is glued on I suggest you then wrap the tissue paper around the ball ( we didnt do this step but the dinosaur would have looked much better had we have done this)

Once this is all in place either glue your sweets on, gluing the wrappers or if you are using lollies like we were, simply spike the sticks into the polystyrene balls.

Once you have completely covered your ball with sweets it will be completed and you have yourself a fancy dinosaur sweet tree. :-)
