Art and Craft Club - Afterschool club — Handcrafted Me

Following the success of our Summer Hols Camp, Handcrafted Me will be closing the studio to the public and hosting an exclusive Sunday craft club.

Children can be dropped off at 10am and collected at 12:30pm. These sessions are grouped in 2 Sundays per theme. The first session will be the prep and “making” stage and the following session will be the decorating and finishing details.

We decided to hold these sessions over 2 Sundays because some of the activities will involve papier mâché or clay work which requires drying time.

These mornings are limited to 8 children.

Target ages are 5 to 11 years.

Juices will be available throughout the morning.

When you book, you will be booking on a pair of Sundays.

Sunday Craft Club! — Handcrafted Me

Join us for a celebration of femininity with our female torso painting ladies night.

Torso and paints will be provided. Your torso will be spray varnished afterwards.

Strictly over 18.

You are purchasing an entry ticket to our ladies night event on Saturday 16th September.

The event times are 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm.

Bring your own bottle and have fun crafting with your girlfriends.

The ticket covers entry fee, torso painting activity and use of our glasses. We will not provide alcohol but soft drinks, teas and coffees will be available at an additional charge.

If you purchase a table for 4, you will have that table reserved for your group. Individual tickets purchased means you may be seated with others outside of your party, though this will be a good chance to make new friends

We are also raising money for Lighthouse Women's Aid, a Suffolk based charity which supports women who have experienced domestic abuse. Details of the charity can be found here: https://www.lighthousewa.org.uk/

When purchasing your ticket to this event, there will be an option to add a donation to women’s lighthouse aid. We hope you can join us and support this cause.

We will provide the materials and guidance for your child to be able to create their own string art. This session will be noisy due to the use of hammers. Parents must stay at this event.

Make irrupting volcanoes with us! Your child will have a choice of making one from homemade playdough that they will be making themselves or out of card.

Both versions will then irrupt at the end.

This is ideal for 3 years plus.

Warning, it will get a bit stinky with the lava.

It is unlikely due to the smelly Lava that the children will be able to bring it home but it will be a fun experiment whilst they are at the studio.

Parents/carers will need to stay for this event. It should last about an hour.

Parking is available on the parade. Teas, coffees and soft drinks are also available to purchase.
