Handcrafted Me Ltd expanded to a premises in July 2023! You can find us at 47 Queen’s Way, Ipswich, Suffolk, IP3 9EX.
Our Term Time Opening Hours are as follows:
Monday - 9:30am to 2:30pm
Tuesday - 9:30am to 2:30pm
Wednesday - Closed
Thursday - 9:30am to 2:30pm
Friday 9:30am to 2:30pm
Saturday 10am to 4pm (last walk ins activities 3:30)
Sunday - Closed for Parties and Private bookings
Our summer holiday opening times are 10am to 4pm every day apart from Wednesdays and Sundays where we are closed to the public and host private events and parties. (unless advertised otherwise)
Our studio is on a lovely shopping parade with free parking available which is not time limited.
In usual opening hours we offer craft activities to do as walk ins at our studio. There are also teas, coffees and soft drinks available to purchase. As well as our walk in activities, we have craft activities and supplies available to purchase to take home as gifts and samples of our made-to-order personalised gifts.
On occasions we offer workshops which require prebooking. Details of this can be found on our events page.
We aim to create a comfortable environment for our customers. We have toilet available for our customers and a baby changing station. We have mini steps, high chairs and booster seats which are also available to use. If you require any adjustments to help your experience, please feel free to contact us and we will do what we can to cater for any extra adjustments.
Unfortunately due to the age of the property our bathroom is not wheelchair accessible.
Meet the owner
Hello, I am Sam, the owner of Handcrafted Me, which was established in 2012. I love the freedom that crafting offers. After working in the City, I wanted to explore that creative flare my city job lacked and set up a business doing what I love. I’m a practical learner with a curious mind, which needs to know how things are made and how things work. I also love children and being around children. I am now blessed with 2 of my own. Both children need to learn through ‘doing’ rather than reading, so as a parent, I have had to think of weird and wonderful ways of teaching at home. The pandemic was an interesting time for us! What I noticed through our creative sessions was that my children would open up and I could unlock something in them which often goes hidden in a normal school setting. This gave me the determination to provide creative outlets for other children too.
When I first started the business, I always wanted to teach children how to explore arts and crafts.
But to build up my brand, I started off specialising in making and selling personalised hand-crafted gifts.
Now we have extended to have both an online shop and face to face events!

Our shop offers a wide range of items covering all aspects of life from a new baby to wedding gifts.
We use a range of mediums and methods to create our items including Sublimation and laser engraving. We are committed to high quality items and fantastic customer service.
We can also create bespoke gifts, so if you have an idea but can’t see anything on our store, please contact us and we will adjust our items to your requirements.
DELIVERY TO ALL REGIONS
We aim to mail out our orders within 5 working days.
In busier periods such as leading up to Christmas orders can take up to 2 weeks.

We offer a variety of crafts to explore and are expanding at a very promising pace. From community crafts to more structured sessions, we hope to cater for all.
