Spring Art Club at Handcrafted Me

Join us for a creative and hands-on Art Club this spring at Handcrafted Me! Running every Tuesday and Friday at 4:00 PM, our sessions are designed to encourage artistic exploration, sensory creativity, and fun.

What to Expect:

• Hands-on sessions exploring a variety of artistic and craft techniques.

• A fun, relaxed environment for kids to express themselves and connect with others.

• Engaging activities that develop fine motor skills and creativity.

• Work with a variety of materials in a supportive and engaging space.

April & May Art Club Themes

Each session will focus on a different artistic technique, helping children to express themselves through various mediums.

Tuesday Art Club Dates & Themes:

• 22nd April – Nature Collage: Celebrate Earth Day (22nd April) by creating collages with natural materials. Inspired by the land art movement, children will use leaves, flowers, and twigs to craft beautiful textured compositions, connecting with nature through art.

• 29th April – Springtime Watercolors: Inspired by Claude Monet and the Impressionist movement, children will paint soft, dreamy spring landscapes. This session ties into International Museum Day (18th May), celebrating the beauty of nature in art.

• 6th May – Spring Blossom Prints: Inspired by Japan’s famous cherry blossom season and Hanami festivals, children will explore stamping and painting techniques to recreate delicate floral prints. This session celebrates nature’s fleeting beauty in art.

• 20th May – Insect Art: Linked to World Bee Day (20th May), this session explores the beauty of bugs through mixed media. Inspired by scientific illustrations and macro photography, children will create vibrant, detailed insect artworks. (No Art Club on 13th May)
